Section 3 - Conguration
Parental Control
Parental control is a free security option that provides Anti-Phishing to
protect your Internet connection from fraud and navigation improve-
ments such as auto-correction of common URL types.
The following parameters will be available for conguration:
Advanced DNS: Select this option to enable a fast and
reliable DNS with minimal blocking of
phishing sites only. No OpenDNS account
required.
OpenDNS® FamilyShield: Select this option to enable a fast and reli-
able DNS with non-congurable blocking
of sites that are inappropriate or risky for
children. No OpenDNS account required.
OpenDNS® Parental
Control:
Select this option to enable a fast and reli-
able DNS with congurable content lter-
ing and phishing protection. This option
includes an OpenDNS account. Click on
the ‘Manage your router’ link to navigate
to the OpenDNS account website, where
you can either login (if you have an exist-
ing account) or you can register a new
OpenDNS account.
None: Select this option to enable the option to specify the DNS servers provided via DHCP by their ISP or their own pre-
ferred DNS servers.
Click on the Save Settings button to accept the changes made.
Click on the Don’t Save Settings button to discard the changes made.
