4. External Antenna 5. RJ45 Cable 2. Antenna Information There are 2 units of external antenna with 2 stands; which can be used to adsorb to any metal surface of machines. These antennas can provide Verizon B2, B4 and B13 radio connections. Note: Machine Connect 2.0 requires an antenna to work properly. These two antennas are only for testing purpose. Verizon does not certify them yet. You may also bring your own antenna.
. Attaching the Antennas Securely screw on the antennas: • • You don’t need to figure out the PRI and DIV antenna when using the supplied antennas. This antenna is fined turned to handle the PRI/DIV antenna characteristic. If you want to use your own antennas that are different than to the supplied antennas; then you might need to follow the labeled PRI and labeled DIV for your own antenna.
. Enable your device Contact your Verizon business representative to activate your device on the Verizon Wireless Network by providing IMEI # and ICCID # listed on the back cover of the device. 5. Use Ethernet interface or USB data interface to the Internet For Machine Connect 2.0 device, there are two interfaces that can be used to access the Internet. The first one is the fast Ethernet RJ45 interface, which is driverless for Linux based, and Windows based of host devices.

If your device is connecting to Verizon LTE live network, you will see the LTE signal information in figure 7. You can get the more detail information showing in figure 8 from the “diagnostics” button, (D), in figure 5.
