Open: Opens files. You can open various files such as HTML,
Text, GIF, JPEG, AIFF,
and XBM with Pocket Internet Explorer.
1. Select File > Open.
2. Select a file to open. You can select a file type from the
Type drop-down list.
3. Tap OK.
Save As: You can save current web page to view later even
when disconnected from the Internet or Intranet without
using cache memory.
To save a copy of the current page:
1. Select File > Save As.
2. Specify a folder location and enter the file name.
3. You can save page as HTML or as text only. Select the save
type using the Type drop-down list. You can view the HTML
source code if you save it as text.
4. Tap OK.
If If you save a copy of a page, images will not be displayed and
links will be disabled.And the web pages containing frames will
not display those frames. Instead they will display only the
frame structure.To save an individual frame, tap ALT and the
frame. Then select Save As or Save Picture As from the shortcut
menu. Some frames are designed not to be saved. Such frames
will not be displayed even if you open them as saved files from
Windows Explorer.
Work Offline: In case of the Web site you have already visited, you
can instantly view the page offline using the data left in cache.
In In the Work Offline mode, the links to web pages will be
disabled. When viewing cached Web pages that use frames,
only the first frame of each frame will be displayed.
