5. To remove a sound from the selected event, select None.
6. To save the changes to a different scheme, select Save As,
and then name the sound scheme.
7. To delete a sound scheme, select it in the list and select
Delete.
Codec
To use the options for the microphone codec:
1. 1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Open the Volume & Sounds and select the Codec tab.
3. Decide if you want to enable SideTone, and decide the level
of Side Tone.
4. Decide if you want to enable the Digital to Analog Codec
(DAC).
5. Decide if you want to activate the input of the microphone to
the speaker.
6. Decide if you want to amplify the input of the microphone.
7. Decide if you want to turn off the microphone while
recording is not in progress.
8. Decide if you want to enable filtering against high-pitched
tones during recording.
