The Director is designed to be the answer for the need of the Station manager to manage the live
broadcast and have control over in and outputs as well as communication to all essential in and outputs of
the Airlab ON-AIR mixing console.

The director of the broadcast station can use the 'Director box'. By having this unit in front of him/her,
he/she is capable of sending verbal instructions by Mic to the engineer, announcer, Guests and Studio or
with one button to all outputs. There is also a Talkback output to and external output that can be used for
local situations.
Listening to Program outputs, SUB outputs, On-Air signals, CRM output, External inputs 1 and 2 is of
course possible.
Four Telco module incoming signals can be taken, talked to and muted if necessary. A standard 5-pole
XLR connector is provided for the headset. A separate Mic input and headphone output is also available.

Two large On-Air LEDS are indicating that the Airlab console is ON-Air.
Level control for Headphone, Mic input and internal speaker are provided for. The back panel has 4
adjustments for the Telco levels and all interfacing with the Airlab.
An external power supply is part of the package
Warning: The director option is only supported by Airlabs build after 01-01-2005. All Airlabs
build before this date can be upgraded to support the Director. Please contact your dealer for
further information.
