Installation Instructions

For Your

Lautus Natural Stone

Under mount Sink

Models CR-R4015-UC, DE-R4015-UC, BM-R4015-UC, TS-R4015-UC

Please read all instructions thoroughly before proceeding!

Items needed for Installation:

• A quality 100% clear silicone adhesive sealer.

• Plumbing tailpiece designed for Vessel sinks. (D'Vontz model # PU-4412)

• Soft cotton rag.

Directions:

• Carefully unpack components taking special precautions not to chip

edges or drop sink or slab. Handle the countertop slab with care.

Handling slab in a vertical position will help prevent possible fracturing of

slab.

• A flat non-abrasive surface should be located to support the slab for sink

attachment. Gently position slab with top facing down and bottom facing up, pre-

set fasteners will be exposed upward.

• A circle with alignment marks has been drawn in order to aid in proper

alignment of sink to slab.

• Bonding surface of slab (just inside circle) should be free of dust and dirt.

Bonding surface of sink (rim) should be free of dust and dirt.

• Apply a continuous bead of silicon sealant onto the countertop slab just inside

of the alignment circle. (See figure 1-B) Carefully set sink onto slab being

careful to align sink with circle. Install sink with overflow hole aligned with

index mark. Add silicone sealer to gap between sink and slab. (See figure

1-C)

• Install the clip, washer and wing nut. (See figure 1-D) Tighten the wing

nuts enough to hold the sink in place. Do Not Over Tighten!

Fig. 1-B Fig. 1-C Fig. 1-D • Check for any excess sealant that may have been squeezed to the inside of bowl. Remove with soft cotton rag. Allow an hour of set time for sealant before installing on cabinet. • Cabinet instructions should be followed at this point prior to setting assembled slab and sink. • After installing cabinet, silicone adhesive should be applied between cabinet corners and slab to attach countertop to cabinet.

• Your sink is now installed and ready for the drain trap to complete the drain installation. • Backsplash should be mounted with silicone adhesive.
