Installation Instructions
for your
Lautus Natural Stone
Above Counter Vessel Sink
Items needed for Installation:
• A quality 100% clear silicone sealer.
• Plumbing tailpiece designed for vessel sinks. (D’Vontz or West Brass) for more
information, go to: www.dvontz.com.
• Soft cotton rag.
Directions:
• Carefully remove your Lautus Vessel from the packaging
materials.
• Apply a small bead of silicon to the bottom side of the
Vessel [FIG. A] approximately 1/4” back from the drain
hole opening.
• Position the V essel over the matching drain hole in your
countertop. Carefully lower into place slowly working the
sealant down until the Vessel contacts the countertop.
• Check the seal between the countertop and Vessel for any sealer that may have
squeezed out. If sealer is visible, lift V essel and remove the excess of f countertop
and V essel with a soft cotton rag. Once excess sealer is removed reposition ves -
sel to countertop.
• Remove the mounting nut and rubber beveled washer
from the tailpiece drain. If your tailpiece came with a
thin rubber washer for mounting under the ange,
please discard.
• Apply a bead of silicone sealer under the mounting
ange of the tailpiece and position into the drain hole
of the V essel. [FIG. B]
Do not use plumbers putty
under the ange for this may damage or discolor
stone.
Work into place by slowly pressing the tail-
piece until it seats against Vessel. You should have a
small amount of sealer squeezing out between the
tailpiece ange and Vessel.
