To prevent spillage and damage to the vent system, turn cookware handles to the side so that they will not be hit when the vent moves to the “up” position. • Clean liquid spills immediately. If liquid enters the vent intake, then turn off the blower, disconnect the power supply and carefully wipe up all liquid.
Care and Cleaning warning • Clean the vent only in the manner specified. • To avoid dangerous fumes or damage to your vent’s surfaces, use only the types of cleaning solutions specified in this manual. • To avoid personal injury, turn off the range and vent and make sure all surrounding surfaces are cool before cleaning. • Always wipe stainless steel (silver colored) surfaces with the grain. To prevent scratching, do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on stainless steel surfaces.
