Setting the system environment
Sets the system usage environment such as date, time,
and language.
General system settings
Tap All menus ▶ Settings ▶ General on the home
screen.
SW information/update
Checks various version information on the system or
updates the system to the latest version.
To update the system, a USB memory must be
connected to the system after downloading the latest
update file using the USB memory.
System information
Checks various information about the system or
initializes the system.
 Storage space: Checks the storage space
information of the system internal memory.
 Major update history: Checks the major update
history when the system has been updated.
 Initialization: Initializes all of the system settings.
 When the initialization is performed, all user data
stored in the system, including the place saved in
the navigation system, will be deleted.
Date/time
Sets the current date and time in the system, or sets
the method of displaying the time.
Sets the way the time is displayed.
 Apply the GPS time: Sets to receive time
information from the GPS. When this
function is deactivated, the date and time
can be entered directly.
 24 hours: Sets to display the time in a
24-hour format.
Language
Changes the display language used in the system.
 When phone projection is running or an iPod
is connected, the system settings could not
be initialized. Disconnect the USB cable to
initialize the settings.
 Even if the language setting is changed, the
language of unique data such as MP3 song
names will not be changed.
 Depending on the system language set, the
function to read messages and voice
recognition may not be supported by the
Bluetooth phone.
