6.9.4.7 #SKTOP – Socket Open command
#SKTOP – Socket Open Command
Execute command
AT#SKTOP Activates the context number 1, proceeds with the authentication with
the user ID and password previously set with #USERID #PASSW
commands, and opens a socket connection with the host specified in
the #SKTSET command. Eventually before opening the socket
connection it issues automatically a DNS query to solve the IP address
of the host name.
If the connection succeeds a CONNECT indication is sent, otherwise a
NO CARRIER indication is sent.

#QDNS – Query DNS
Execute command
AT#QDNS="<host
name>"
This command activates a context, authenticates and proceeds to
execute a DNS query to solve the host name into an IP address.
If the DNS query is successful then the IP address will be reported in
the result code:
#QDNS:"<host name>",< IP address>
the <IP address> is in the format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
else
#QDNS:"<host name>", NOT SOLVED
