Is the
high pressure
switch operating value
normal (4.0 MPa
(580 psi))?

Are the
characteristics of the
high pressure sensor
normal? (1)

Are the three points
above OK?
Rectify the defective points,
if any.
NO

Check
if the high
pressure value and the
actual value measured by
pressure sensor are
the same.
Replace the outdoor main
PCB (A1P).
(1) Mount a pressure gauge on the high pressure
service port.
(2)
Reset the operation using the remote controller,
and then restart the operation.
Does the abnormal
stop
E3 recur?
Replace the high pressure switch.
Replace the high pressure sensor.
·
The high pressure sensor is normal, and the pressure detected with the PCB is also normal.
· The high pressure has really become high.
CHECK 1
Remove the causes by which the high pressure has become high.
Service Checker
Compare the high pressure value checked with the Service Checker and
the actual value measured by pressure sensor (1).
Check for the points shown below.
(1)
Is the stop valve open?
(2)
Is the high pressure switch connector properly
connected to the main PCB?
(3)
Does the high pressure switch have continuity?
CHECK 12
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
1: Make a comparison between the voltage of the pressure sensor and that read by the
pressure gauge.
(As to the voltage of the pressure sensor, make measurement of voltage at the
connector, and then convert it to pressure. CHECK 12)
