Troubleshooting 245
7.17 Outdoor Unit PCB Abnormality
Error Code
L1
Method of Error
Detection
The error is detected based on the current value during waveform output before starting
compressor.
The error is detected based on the value from current sensor during synchronous operation
when starting the unit.
Error Decision
Conditions
Overcurrent (OCP) flows during waveform output.
Malfunction of current sensor during synchronous operation
IPM failure
Supposed
Causes
Defective main PCB (A1P)
•
IPM failure
•
Current sensor failure
•
Failure of IGBT or drive circuit
Troubleshooting
Turn the power off and then
on again.
Return to normal?
Could be other causes than
malfunction (for example,
noise etc.).
Replace the main PCB
(A1P).
