This function uses a “streamer discharge”, a type of plasma discharge, to generate high-speed electrons with strong oxidation power inside the air purifier, reducing or removing odour swiftly. (The high-speed electrons are generated and absorbed within the unit to ensure your safety.) The hissing sound of the streamer discharge may be heard during operation. It does not indicate any operational issue.
