Titanium apatite is a photocatalytic material with
high adsorption power. Besides mould and odours,
titanium apatite also effectively adsorbs and
decomposes bacteria and viruses across its entire
surface. The photocatalyst is activated simply by
exposure to natural light. This filter is installed in all
wall-mounted units.

Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Air-Purifying Filter

When cooling or dry operation is stopped, fan-only
operation runs automatically for one hour. This
airflow dries the inside of the indoor unit to reduce
the generation of mould and the odours caused by
mould.

The filter removes bacteria and viruses, and
impurities such as dust, pollen and cigarette
smoke from the air. Its removal rate for bacteria
and viruses has been measured and verified by
the Japan Food Research Laboratories.
