TOOLS NEEDED: -Pencil -Tape Measure -Phillips Head Screwdriver -Stud Finder -Level -Electric Drill Step 1 Start by marking the wood studs in the location your kit will be installed. Using the stud finder, pencil and tape measure, find and mark the wall studs 84” from the floor. Mark any additional holes needed to install the hang rail included in the kit. Your closet needs to be centered on the 38” hang rail.
Step 3 Step 4 The wall mount bracket pack contains a left and right bracket. Install one bracket onto the center uprights in the * locations shown below. Use the holes at the top of the uprights as shown below right. The brackets will be concealed on the inside of the finished project. The remainder of the uprights will be floor standing. Using a screwdriver, turn the screw at the back of the wall mount bracket to fully extend the hook arm.
Step 5 Using a screwdriver, install the cam dowels from the cam lock pack into all of the uprights. Use the notes below for location of the cam lock locations counting holes from the bottom. All shelves are adjustable and can be moved if desired.
Step 7 Step 8 Align the cam locks from the cam lock pack over the pre-drilled holes in the shelves, making sure the open ends match up. Firmly press the cam locks into the holes. Cam locks cannot be remove once installed, ensure proper orientation using illustrations below. Lower the shelves with installed cam locks onto the installed cam dowels on the uprights. Once seated, secure the shelves with a screwdriver by turning the cam lock a half turn in the clockwise direction.
Step 9 Step 10 Install the wardrobe rod supports into the center section by pushing into the pre-drilled holes in the uprights. Insert the wardrobe rod into the wardrobe rod supports. Supports are designed to be adjustable and can be moved to any height Using a screwdriver, turn the screws at the back of the wall mount brackets until the unit is tight and flush with the wall. Place a level on top of the assembled closet and determine if any adjustment is necessary.
Step 11 Complete your project by securing the closet to the wall with L-Brackets. Install L-Brackets into the top shelf and into the previously marked wall studs. If you are unable to install into the wall stud, use the included drywall anchors.
