Section 13: Disposal Considerations
Product Waste – Burn in an incinerator. Dispose of in a landfill. Recycle. Under RCRA guidelines, it is the
User’s responsibility to determine if this product falls under RCRA applicable criteria for hazardous
waste. Follow all federal, state and local regulations in the disposal of the product.
Section 14: Transportation Information
DOT – Not regulated as dangerous goods or a hazardous material.
TDG – Not regulated as dangerous goods.
Section 15: Regulatory Information
U.S. OSHA – Wood Products are not considered hazardous under the criteria of the Federal OSHA
Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. However, wood dusts generated by sawing,
sanding, or machining these products may be hazardous.
ANSI A208.1-1999 – Particleboard Standard: Industry consensus standard sets physical, mechanical
and emission levels for industrial and flooring particleboard.
RCRA – pMDI is not a hazardous waste in purchased form.
SARA/CERCLA – This product does not contain chemicals in concentrations that should require reporting
Under SARA 313.
