Installation Instructions DAKOTATM planking is for interior use only. Before you begin, allow wood planks to acclimate for at least 72 hours in the room they will be installed. Do not store or install DAKOTATM planking in environments where drastic fluctuations in temperature and humidity occur STEP ONE When installing the planking parallel to the wall studs, furring strips must be installed. Furring strips can be applied over the drywall or directly to the wall stud.
