stri
The brand new 29mm soft dome
tweeter is built from material that
is less than half the weight of most
rivals (0.06mg per mm
2
) – keeping
voice coil motion to a minimum to
eradicate distortion
The woofers feature DALI’s
signature wood-fibre cone. The
sti but lightweight construction is
supported in a low-loss surround,
revealing the micro-details in your
music with unswerving accuracy
The cabinets are constructed from
rigid MDF board with high-grade
vinyls. Acoustic damping is carefully
applied, leaving the reverse side of
the front bae undamped in order
to produce more precise bass from
the rear-mounted bass ports
The magnet motor features a pole
piece capped with SMC (soft
magnetic compound), resulting in an
improved flux field and dramatically
reduced mechanical distortion
DALI OBERON
IN DEPTH
DALI OBERON is a breakthrough: it’s the first
entry-level loudspeaker to incorporate DALI’s
patented SMC technology, drastically reducing
non-linear magnetic distortion – so you can hear
your favourite music like you’ve never heard it
before. With new oversized tweeters, wide-dispersion
wood-fibre woofers and striking Danish cabinet
design, DALI OBERON sets a new benchmark
for aordable audiophile speakers. It’s time to
rediscover the magic of music.
Cutting-edge cabinet design
DALI OBERON fuses form and
function, without compromise.
Available in four distinctive finishes,
with a super-rigid construction
eliminating resonance – so you’ll only
hear what the artist intended.
Low-distortion SMC
Most speakers are driven by iron magnets.
But iron doesn’t magnetise and demagnetise
at the same speed, leading to audible
distortion. DALI OBERON uses Soft
Magnetic Compound, developed for our high-
end speakers, to drastically reduce distortion.
Wide-dispersion drivers
No need to angle your speakers in –
DALI OBERON is designed to deliver
a perfectly integrated sound to a wide
listening area, faithfully reproducing
every detail in the audio signal wherever
you sit or stand.
We believe the science of sound
should always be in service
to the magic of music.
