OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS TEMPERATURE SELECTION DEFROSTING The temperature of the appliance can be adjusted by turning the thermostat dial. This appliance should be defrosted approximately twice a year or when a 6 mm (1/4 inch) layer of frost has formed on the shelves. • The number 1 position indicates the warmest temperature setting. The number 4 position indicates the coldest temperature setting. The number 2 or 3 position should be sufficient for regular home use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS DOOR REVERSAL INSTRUCTIONS 1 If the appliance is placed on its back or side for any length of time during this process, it must be allowed to remain upright for 6 hours before plugging it in to avoid damage to the internal components. 1. Open the door and unscrew the upper hinge from the right side of the worktop. Remove the door from the cabinet. Remove the screws in the left side of the work top. CARE & MAINTENANCE CLEANING ENERGY SAVING TIP Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning. The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances, and out of direct sunlight. Do not overload the unit or block any ventilation openings. • To clean the inside of the appliance, use a soft cloth and a solution of one tablespoon of baking soda to one quart of water or a mild detergent solution.
