INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LOCATION • Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet (avoid the use of extension cords). If it is absolutely necessary to use an extension cord, use an approved “air conditioner” heavy duty extension cord ONLY (available at most local hardware stores). • Make sure there are no obstructions restricting airÀow through the front air intake grill.

EC - Please ensure that the room ambient temperature matches the recommended operating temperature for the unit, 5°C (41°F) - 35°C (95°F).

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS AIR FILTER Your dehumidifer features a removable air ¿lter, located at the front of the unit (behind the air intake grill) directly above the water tank compartment. The air ¿lter plays an important role in helping to reduce dust/dirt particles from the surrounding environment. A blocked/clogged air ¿lter reduces air intake, negatively impacting operating ef¿ciency.

Do not use bleach or abrasives. Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing so may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust. The air intake and outlet grilles become dirty easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean. Option A 2.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Occasionally, a problem is minor and a service call may not be necessary - use this troubleshooting guide for a possible solution. If the unit continues to operate improperly, call an authorized service depot or Danby’s Toll Free Number 1-800263-2629 for assistance. PROBLEM Dehumidifier does not start. OPERACIÓN FILTRO DE AIRE Su deshumidi¿cador cuenta con un ¿ltro de aire desmontable que se ubica en la parte frontal de la unidad (detrás de la rejilla de entrada de aire) directamente sobre el compartimento para el tanque de agua.
