Tools Required / Herramientas necesarias:
Step 1. IMPORTANT: Shut off water supply to the kitchen faucet. Once the water supply is shut
off, turn on the faucet to relieve the pressure in the hose system.
Step 2. Remove old hose by unscrewing threaded connectors (via adjustable wrench and adjustable pliers) on both the faucet side and
the sprayer side.
Step 3. Remove weights or springs from hose and save for re-installation in Section 4.*
*For Delta Faucets – Remove clips from hose and save for re-installation.

The following steps show how to connect the Quick Connect to the faucet end.

Step 1. Insert the Small Washer (3) into Hose Nut (4).
Step 2. Apply 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape onto threads of Quick Connect Adapter (2).
Step 3. Insert Quick Connect Adapter (2) into Hose Nut (4). Tighten gently with adjustable wrench
or adjustable pliers.
Step 4. Pull on white collar on Quick Connect Adapter (2), and push the Quick Connect Adapter (2)
onto the nipple on faucet connector (1).
Step 5. When fully seated, release the white collar of the Quick Connect Adapter (2). Tug the Hose
(4) to ensure the Quick Connect Adapter (2) connection is secure.

Step 1. Follow Steps 1 through 3 in the beginning of Set 5 part to connect the Quick Connect Adapter to the Hose.
Step 2. Note the faucet end connection. Use the appropriate Fitting 2 from Figure 6.
Step 3. When connecting the male threaded faucet connection, apply 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape on the threads.
Step 4. Pull on white collar on Quick Connect Adapter (3), and push the Male Threaded Connector (2) into the Quick Connect Adapter (3).
Step 5. Tighten the male auxiliary adapter gently with adjustable wrench or adjustable pliers.
Step 6. Tug the Hose to ensure the Quick Connect Adapter (3) connection is secure.

Step 1. Insert the Small Washer (3) into the seat of the Hose Nut (4).
Step 2. Identify faucet connection. If the connection appears to be of varying diameter with a single O-ring, refer to Figure 8 for the
replacement fitting (2). If the faucet connection appears to be of constant diameter, refer to Figure 9 for the replacement fitting.
Step 3. Apply 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape on the threads of the Delta
®
replacement connector (2).
Step 4. Insert Delta

replacement connector (2) into Hose (4). Tighten gently with adjustable wrench or adjustable pliers.

PN RP32522 clip (if following Figure 9) into the slots of the replacement fitting (2) until it snaps into place. Insert

Step 7. Tug the Hose to ensure the hose connection is secure.

Step 1. Install the Small Washer (3) into the Hose Nut (4).
Step 2. Place 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape on the threads of the Moen

Step 3. Gently tighten the Moen replacement fitting (2) on to the hose assembly (4) with adjustable
wrench. Place O-ring into groove of Moen
®
replacement fitting.
Step 4. Depending on the connection, insert Moen
®
replacement fitting (2) into respective Hydrolock or
Duralock connector until it clicks into place.
Step 5. Tug the Hose to ensure the hose connection is secure.

SECTION 3: ATTACHING HOSE TO FAUCET

Step 1. Insert the Small Washer (4) into the seat of the Hose Nut (5).
Step 2. Push top clip (2) of replacement connector into the body of replacement connector (3) until it snaps into place.
Step 3. Apply 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape on the threads of the replacement connector (3).
Step 4. Insert replacement connector (3) into the hose. Tighten gently with adjustable wrench or adjustable pliers.
Step 5. Insert replacement connector onto faucet connection (1) until it snaps into place.
Step 6. Tug the Hose to ensure the hose connection is secure.

The following steps are for attaching the hose to sprayers that have 5/8" – 18 UNF
Female Threads, including many current Delta Models. Refer to Figure 2 for reference.

Step 1. Insert the Small Washer (6) into cavity seat of hose.
Step 2. Apply 1 to 2 rounds of thread tape to the threads of Fitting (5) and screw onto Hose Nut (7).
Step 3. Insert Barrel Nut (4) onto Fitting (5).
Step 4. Insert Large O-Ring (3) into bottom groove of Fitting (E). The large O-Ring will prevent the Barrel Nut (4)
from falling out of the Fitting (5). Insert Small O-Ring (2) into topgroove of Fitting (5).
Step 5. Push fitting into Sprayer (1) and hand tighten the Barrel Nut threads (4) into the Sprayer (1) threads.
Step 6. Tug on hose assembly to ensure connection is secure.

SECTION 2: ATTACHING HOSE TO SPRAYER
SECCIÓN 2: CÓMO CONECTAR LA MANGUERA AL ROCIADOR
Step 1. Slide the Ferrule Nut (7) over one end of the hose (6) with the threaded end facing toward the Sprayer (1).
Step 2. Insert the Small Washer (5) into cavity seat of hose.
Step 3. Screw Ferrule Adapter (4) into the round nut of hose. Tighten gently with adjustable wrench or adjustable
pliers. Overtightening may damage the washer.
Step 4. Slide Ferrule Nut (7) up until Ferrule Adapter (4) is seated inside Ferrule Nut (7).
Step 5. There are two washers that fit the ferrule nut. Place the Thin Washer (2) on top of the
Ferrule Adapter (4). If the sprayer bottoms out before hitting the washer, use the
Thicker Washer (3).*
Step 6. Screw the Ferrule Nut (7) onto the Sprayer (1). Hand tighten only, as over tightening may
damage the sprayer.
*If leak occurs during a leak check after assembly at the sprayer end, use the thicker washer instead of the thinner washer.
Paso 1. Desliza la tuerca-férula (7) sobre un extremo de la manguera (6) con el extremo roscado mirando al rociador (1).
