Nota: Este aparato ha sido concebido en conformidad con los estándares ASME A112.18.1-2005/CSA B125.1-05. Una
cantidad pequeña de agua fluye del pico cuando el desviador es activado. Esto es una medida de seguridad para prevenir

Instrucciones:
En el sentido de la agujas del reloj, remueva el pico existente de la bañera (A).
Conexiones roscadas de 1/2 pulgada
1. Remueva los residuos de la extremidad de la boquilla del pico (B). En el sentido de la agujas del reloj, aplique cinta para roscas
de tubo dando entre 2 y 4 vueltas alrededor de las roscas de la boquilla del pico (B).
2. Girando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, apriete el casquillo adaptador 3/4 x 1/2 en la boquilla del pico (B). En el sentido de
la agujas del reloj, aplique cinta para roscas de tubo dando entre 2 y 4 vueltas alrededor del casquillo adaptador.
3. En el sentido de la agujas del reloj, apriete a mano el pico de bañera (A) en la boquilla de pico (B).
4. Abra la ducha. PRUEBE PARA VER SI HAY FUGAS. PRECAUCIÓN: NO UTILICE SI HAY FUGAS EN LA PARTE POSTERIOR.
ESTO PUEDE CAUSAR DAÑOS A LA PARED.
Conexiones roscadas de 3/4 pulgada
1. Remueva los residuos de la extremidad de la boquilla del pico (B). En el sentido de la agujas del reloj, aplique cinta para roscas
de tubo dando entre 2 y 4 vueltas alrededor de las roscas de la boquilla del pico (B).
2. En el sentido de la agujas del reloj, apriete a mano el pico de bañera (A) en la boquilla de pico (B).
3. Abra la ducha. PRUEBE PARA VER SI HAY FUGAS. PRECAUCIÓN: NO UTILICE SI HAY FUGAS EN LA PARTE POSTERIOR.
ESTO PUEDE CAUSAR DAÑOS A LA PARED.

Tools & Supplies Needed: Adjustable Pliers, Thread Tape
Instructions:
Turning counter clockwise, remove old tub spout (A).
1/2” Threaded Connection
1. Remove all debris from threaded end of Stub Out Nipple (B). Turning clockwise, wrap two to four turns of Thread Tape onto
threaded end of Stub Out Nipple (B).
2. Turning clockwise, screw 3/4” x 1/2” Adapter Bushing onto Stub Out Nipple (B). Turning clockwise, wrap two to four turns of
Thread Tape onto threads of Adapter Bushing.
3. Turning clockwise, hand tighten new Tub Spout (A) onto Stub Out Nipple (B).
4. Turn shower “ON”. TEST FOR LEAKS. CAUTION: DO NOT USE IF LEAKING FROM REAR. WALL DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
3/4” Threaded Connection
1. Remove all debris from threaded end of Stub Out Nipple (B). Turning clockwise, wrap two to four turns of Thread Tape onto
threaded end of Stub Out Nipple (B).
2. Turning clockwise, hand tighten new Tub Spout (A) onto Stub Out Nipple (B).
3. Turn shower “ON”. TEST FOR LEAKS. CAUTION: DO NOT USE IF LEAKING FROM REAR. WALL DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
