Data sheet ECL Comfort 100B
Burner control 230 V a.c. and 24 V a.c.
Application The ECL Comfort 100B is a controller for
weather compensation of the flow
temperature in heating systems with oil and
gas boilers.
The ECL Comfort 100B controller has relay
outputs for burner and pump control.
Temperature sensors for boiler temperature,
outdoor and room temperature can be
connected.
The enclosure is designed for wall and panel
mounting.
Functions
Each of the minimum and maximum flow
temperatures can be set to one of four values.
The heating can be switched off at high
outdoor temperatures. The limit can be set to
one of four temperatures.
The controller can reduce boiler cycling in
thermally light gas boilers.
The controller can be used as a slave in systems
with master/slave controllers.
The room panel ECA 60 or the remote
control ECA 61 can be connected to the
system device bus.
Application example
It is possible to connect an outdoor sensor
as well as a room sensor. The outdoor
sensor enables weather compensation, and
with the room sensor, a reference room
control function is obtainable.
An analog clock can be mounted on the
controller if a reduced temperature is
requested.
During reduced temperature operation, the
room/boiler temperature is lowered according
to the outdoor temperature or kept at a fixed
reduced value (10
°C).
The heating circuit is proctected against frost
at 10 °C during stand-by.
The circulation pump is controlled according to
reference temperature. The pump is ON when
T
ref
> 20 °C or T
out
< +2 °C.
