Parameter commands and replies (AK)
Bits no. 12-15 are used for transferring parameter
commands from master to slave and the slave's
processed reply back to the master.

If the command cannot be carried out, the slave will
send this reply (0111) Command cannot be executed
and give the following error message in the parameter
value (PWE):
(reply 0111) Error message
0 The parameter number used does
not exist
1 There is no write access to the
parameter called
2 The data value exceeds the
parameter limits
3 The used sub-index does not exist
4 The parameter is not of the array type
5 The data type does not match the
parameter called
17 Data change in the parameter called is
not possible in the present mode of the
VLT frequency converter. E.g. some
parameters can only be changed when
the motor has stopped
130 There is no bus access to the
parameter called
131 Data change is not possible because
factory Setup has been selected

Parameter number PNU)
Bits no. 0-10 are used for transmitting parameter
numbers. The function of a given parameter can be
sen from the parameter description in the
Programming section.
Index
Index is used together with the parameter number for
read/write access to parameters with an index, such
as parameter 615 Error code.
Index has 2 bytes - a lowbyte and a highbyte.
However, only the lowbyte is used. See example on
the following page.
