IR-100 Warning Unpacking Instructions Immediately upon receiving this product, carefully unpack the carton and check the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the dealer immediately and retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials.
IR-100 • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Never leave any cables lying around. Do not connect this system to a dimmerpack. Do not switch the system on and off in short intervals, as this would reduce the system’s life. Do not open the device and do not modify the device. Only use system indoors, avoid contact with water or other liquids. Avoid flames and do not put close to flammable liquids or gases. Always disconnect power from the mains, when system is not used.
IR-100 Return Procedure Returned merchandise must be sent prepaid and in the original packing, call tags will not be issued. Package must be clearly labeled with a Return Authorization Number (RMA number). Products returned without an RMA number will be refused. Highlite will not accept the returned goods or any responsibility. Call Highlite 0031-455667723 or mail aftersales@highlite.nl and request an RMA prior to shipping the fixture.
IR-100 Description of the device Features The DAP IR-100 is a professional 1U internet radio with Wi-Fi and RJ45 connectors. It is also equipped with a conventional FM tuner and a USB media player, which can be used in case of network-related problems. The multilingual menu is very user-friendly, with its full color display and multifunctional selector. The device is equipped with such advanced features as playlists, EQ presets, sleep timer, clock and DNLA.

LCD display AUX IN – 3,5 mm jack Connect an external music source, for example an MP3 player or a mobile device. Please note, that it is not possible to connect your external devices to both inputs (3/25) at the same time. Always use only one input at a time. USB – A connector Insert a USB flash drive, containing music files. Fig.

VOL (+) button Press the button to turn up the volume. SLEEP button Repeatedly press the button to set the amount of time after which the device will turn off. The available settings are: OFF, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 minutes. DIMMER button Press the button to darken/brighten the LCD display.

Press and hold down the button for 3 seconds to switch between stand-by and active. ENTER button Press the button to open the desired menu/confirm settings. IR-100 Set Up and Operation Before plugging the unit in, always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification voltage. Do not attempt to operate a 115V specification product on 230V power, or vice versa. 01) Upon start-up, the device will search for the available Wi-Fi networks. 02) Once the search is finished, press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to select the desired network and press the ENTER button (20/31) to confirm. 03) Enter the Wi-Fi password to gain access to the network.

Local Radio With this menu you can choose your desired local radio station. 01) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose your country/region and press the ENTER button (20/31) to confirm. 02) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose your desired genre (Alternative, Ambient, Blues, etc.) and press the ENTER button (20/31) to confirm. 03) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose your desired radio station. 04) Once you have made your choice, press the button (17/33) to open the submenu.

Press the ENTER button (20/31) to confirm your choice. It is possible to search for radio stations by genre, continent and country. Media Center With this menu it is possible to connect various external devices to your IR-100. 01) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose one of the following submenus: • USB • UPnP • My Playlist • Clear My Playlist 02) Press the ENTER button (20/31) to open the desired menu. 3.1. USB With this menu you can play your own music, stored on a USB flash drive. 01) Insert a USB flash drive, containing MP3 files, into the USB slot (04). 02) The IR-100 will display the content of the USB flash drive.
IR-100 4. FM With this menu it is possible to search for and store local radio stations. 01) Press the buttons (15/17/30/33) to start auto search. The search will stop as soon as the device has found a radio signal which is strong enough. Press the buttons again, to manually stop the search. 02) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to fine-tune the newly found radio station. 03) Press and hold down the FAV button (14/40) for 3 seconds or press the MEMORY button (39) to proceed to saving.
IR-100 6. AUX With this menu it is possible to connect an external music source, for example an MP3 player or other mobile devices, to the IR-100. 7. Configuration With this menu it is possible to adjust many important settings.

Network With this menu it is possible to adjust the network settings of the IR-100. 01) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to browse through the following menus: • Wired Network Configuration • Wireless Network Configuration • Wireless Network (WPS PBC) • Manual Configuration • Check Network when Power On 02) Press the ENTER button (20/31) to enter the desired menu. Wired Network Configuration 01) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose between Enable and Disable.

Date & Time With this menu it is possible to adjust the time settings of the IR-100.

Press the Weak.

Playback Setup 01) Press the buttons (16/18/29/32) to choose one of the following 4 options: • Off (normal playback) • Repeat all (repeat all media files) • Repeat one (repeat one media file) • Shuffle (play random media files) 02) Press the ENTER button (20/31) to confirm your choice. 7.17. DLNA Setup 01) Press the ENTER button (20/31) to give your device a new DLNA name. 02) Press the buttons (15/17/30/33) to select the desired character.
IR-100 Maintenance The DAP Audio IR-100 requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid. Do not use alcohol or solvents. Keep connections clean. Disconnect electric power, and then wipe the audio connections with a damp cloth. Make sure connections are thoroughly dry before linking equipment or supplying electric power.
