Ordercode: D2352
9. Input selection switch (channel 1/2)
With this you are able to assign the line (39/40) input
or the USB (42/43) input to the according channel. If
the line input is selected, the according channel
display (16) shows the text you have assigned to it
with the display select (16) switch. If the USB input is
selected, the channel display (16) shows USB 1 or
USB 2 depending on the channel.
10. Channel VU-meter
This meter is a multi-step LED. The accurate level
indication allows you to monitor the channel level
anytime. If the red LEDs frequently blink or constantly
light, the corresponding channel is likely to enter
clipping and you have to reduce the input’s
amplification using the gain control. Make sure that
the red LEDs light only briefly during dynamic peaks.
11/12/13. Equalizer section (channel 1-5)
The channel equalizer section allows shaping of the
incoming audio signal. All input channels are fitted
with 3-band EQ. The hi (2) and low (1) shelving
controls have their frequencies fixed at 12 KHz and
80 Hz respectively. The mid (3) range control has a
peaking response frequency at 1 KHz. All 3 bands
have up to 12dB cut and boost, with a centre
detent for off. Turning the equalizer control to the
right amplifies the frequency range; turning to the
left attenuates the signal. Minor changes to an
equalizer control usually produce the best results. Try
to avoid excessive enhancement of the mid band.
14. Input selection switch (channel 3/4)
With this you are able to assign two sets of line (37/38) inputs to the according channel. The according
channel display (16) shows the text you have assigned to it with the display select (16) switches.
15. Input selection switch (channel 5)
With this you are able to assign the line (36) input or the aux (26/28) inputs to the according channel. If
the line input is selected, the according channel display (16) shows the text you have assigned to it with
the display select (16) switch. If the aux (26/28) inputs are selected, the channel display (16) shows from
aux.
16. Input display
Shows the text you have assigned to the display using the corresponding display select (46) switch.
17. Channel fader
A logarithmic 50mm fader, which controls the volume of the corresponding channel. The overall volume
is set with the master control.
