Surface Preparation & Application:
1. Surface must be clean, dry & free of caulk. 2. Cut nozzle at 45° angle to desired bead size. 3. Puncture
inner foil seal. 4. Load into caulking gun. 5. Fill gap. If joint depth exceeds 1/2” x 1/2”, use backer rod.
6. Smooth bead. 7. Clean up excess w/ mineral spirits. Scrape away cured sealant. 8. Paintable after tack
free (less than 2 hours depending on temp./ humidity). NOTE: Paintable w/ most latex paints. For best
results, use latex primer for oil-based paints. Not for window glazing or continuous underwater use.
Store below 80°F. Apply in temps. between -35°F & 140°F. Indoor/outdoor use.
For Best Results:
Store caulk away from extreme heat or cold
Not recommended for use underwater or below grade, on stovepipes, or chimneys, fireplace
applications, tuck-pointing, or surface defects.
Joint width should not exceed 1/2”. If joint depth exceeds 1/2”, use a backer rod or a polyethylene
foam as a backup filler.
Not recommended for structural glazing.
Do not use where abrasion and physical abuse are encountered.
Allow 24 hours for sealant to cure. Sealant will not cure in totally confined spaces.
