1) Volume
Use to adjust the input volume level for the X-12A.
2) Limiter LED
We suggest you to set the input level with the L-R level controls in such way that the LED blinks
occasionally. If the LED lights up continuously we strongly suggest you to lower the Volume control
(1).
3) Loudness Button
The loudness circuit amplifies certain frequencies in order to get a more full sound at low volumes.
4) Low frequency
Use to set the optimal crossover frequency for the active subwoofer connected to the low output.
5) Sattelite/ Fullrange Button
Allows you to switch the X-12A as either a satellite speaker (in combination with an additional
Subwoofer) or as a full range speaker.
6) Combo Input
The input equipped with 3 pole XLR/ jack combo socket is electronically balanced to accept the
(line) signal from any mixing console.
7) Full range XLR Output
For linking several X-12A speakers.
8) Ground Lift Switch
When this button is pressed, it separates the signal ground from the chassis ground, enabling you to
eliminate potential ground loops or low-frequency hum.
9) Low XLR Output
For connection of an optional subwoofer.
10) AC Inlet With Integrated Fuse Holder
This connector is meant for the connection of the supplied main cord. Connect one end of the
power cord to the connector, the other end to the mains, then turn on the power switch (11) to
operate the unit.
Note: Please make sure that the supply voltage matches the operation voltage before connecting
the unit to mains. Replace the fuse only with a fuse of same specification (T4A).
11) AC Power Switch
This is the main Power switch. Press to turn the X-12A on.
