Locating the Data Acquisition VIs in LabVIEW
You can find the Data Acquisition VIs in the
Functions
palette from your
block diagram in LabVIEW. When you put your cursor over each of the
icons in the
Functions
palette, LabVIEW displays the palette name you are
about to access at the top of the
Functions
palette. You can find the Data
Acquisition icon near the bottom of the
Functions
palette, as shown in
Figure 3-1.

The
Data Acquisition
palette contains six subpalette icons that take you to
the different classes of DAQ VIs. Figure 3-2 shows what each of the icons
in the
Data Acquisition
palette mean.
