Skin Protection – When prolonged or frequently repeated
contact occurs, use protective clothing impervious to this
material. Specific items such as a face shield, gloves,
boots, apron or full body suit will depend on operation.
Remove contaminated clothing immediately, wash skin
with soap and water and launder clothing before reuse. If
hands are cut, scratched or bruised use gloves impervious
to this material even for brief exposures.
Respiratory Protection – In dusty atmospheres, use an
approved dust respirator.
6. Stability & Reactivity
Chemical Stability – Stable. Hygroscopic.
Conditions to Avoid – Strong oxidizing acids.
Incompatibility with other materials – Corrosive to some
metals and corrosive when wet. Flammable hydrogen
may be generated from contact with sulfuric acid. Heat is
generated when mixed with water. Spattering or boiling
can occur.
Hazardous Decomposition Products – N/A
Hazardous Polymerization – Will not occur.
7. Safe Handling & Use
Material Release or Spillage – Sweep up material into
clean container.
Waste Disposal Method – Discard in waste disposal
according to local regulations.
Storage – Store in dry well ventilated area. Wash hands
after handling.
