Canadian References – In this report, “CN” denotes that the component
is CUL or CSA Certified. If the unit does not bear the CUL Mark, the “CN”
reference should be disregarded.
Spacing - Minimum 1.6 mm spacing are maintained between un-insulated
current-carrying parts of opposite polarity and between current-carrying
parts and dead metal for both USL and CNL, except for CNL, minimum 3.1 mm
spacing are maintained between un-insulated current-carrying parts and a
conductive enclosure.
Sharp Edges – This appliance shall have no sharp edges, points, or
spikes inside or outside the appliance that may cause injury during use,
including cleaning.
Electrical Connection – Unless specified otherwise, all wire connectors
are R/C (RFWV2)/CNR, Quick-Connector Terminal, R/C (ZMVV2)/CNR or Listed
(ZMVV)/CNL devices, rated minimum 105°C, 125 V. Connectors shall be suitable
for the number of conductors, size, and material of conductor involved.
Internal Wiring - Unless otherwise noted, all fiberglass coated
internal wiring is R/C (AVLV2)/CNR, minimum 18 AWG, rated VW-1, minimum 200°C,
300 V.
Insulation Sleeving/Tubing – Unless otherwise noted, sleeving is
Sleeving, Coated Electrical, R/C (UZFT2)/CNR, rated minimum 150°C, 125 V, and
tubing is Tubing, Electrical, R/C (YDPU2)/CNR or R/C (YDTU2)/CNR, rated
minimum 105°C, 125 V.
