Changing the battery
The AlarmView™ Programmer requires two AAA alkaline
battery, and one CR2016 battery.
• Observe proper polarity when installing battery.
• Do not dispose of battery in fire.
• Do not attempt to recharge alkaline batteries.
• Remove battery from PDA if the PDA will not be
used for 2 days or more.
To change the battery:
With the back of the PDA facing you, carefully remove the
battery cover. Remove the old batteries and throw them away.
Put new batteries in the slot. Be sure that the “+” on the battery
matches up with the “+” on the PDA. Put the battery cover back
on the PDA. Turn the PDA on to make sure the battery works.
Power
There will be a dialog box notification to tell you that the battery
will need to be replaced.
Screen
The pager screen should be protected to keep from being
scratched and broken. If the screen should become cracked or
moisture appears inside, the PDA should be replaced.
