BC40XX UV Counterfeit Detection

To use the Counterfeit Detector:

1. Quickly press the Base button to light the UV

LEDs.

2. Hold the item to be verified under the LED lights

as shown below, to ensure that the special fluores-

cent marks are visible.

3. The LEDs are set to switch off automatically after

about two minutes. To keep the UV LEDs in

always-on mode, quickly press the Base button a

second time within 10 seconds of the first press.

4. To switch the LEDs off manually, simply press the

button again.

functionality of the Radio Base Station with UV

Counterfeit Detector. Use only the recom-

mended AC adapter 12Vdc.
