Contents of the Internal Rewind Kit This kit contains the following items: Internal Rewind Assembly Rewind Bracket Thumbscrew Media Clip Rewinder Media Retainer (3) Screws Tools Required The Internal Rewind Option only requires a #2 Phillips head screwdriver for installation. Preparing the Printer Turn the power off and unplug the printer. Remove any installed media from the printer. Open the cover and remove the Screws and the Rewind Cover Plate.
Installing the Internal Rewind Assembly Position the Internal Rewind Assembly in the printer as shown and secure using the three provided Screws. Setup and Configuration Remove the Front Fascia. Loosen and remove the Thumbscrew and remove the Tear Plate. Position the Rewind Plate on the Printer and install and tighten the Thumbscrew.
Loading Media Route the media back to and around the Rewind Hub. Insert the media’s leading edge into a Slot on the Media Rewind Hub then insert the Media Clip into a Slot to secure. Slide the Rewind Retainer onto the Media Rewind Hub to rest lightly against the outside edge of the media and tighten the Thumbscrew to secure. Manually rotate the hub to remove any slack in the media.
