(paper).
b) Place the backing, notch,
or mark in the sensor.
Record the reading and
label it “G” or “M” (Gap or
Mark).
c) Remove media. Record
the reading and label it
“E” (Empty).

Level (or Mark Sensor Level)
and the Empty Sensor Level
entries.
