There are basically two ways to establish connection between the NVS-31 and your computer:
• Connect an Ethernet cable from the NVS-31’s LAN port directly to your computer’s Ethernet port.
• Connect an Ethernet cable from the NVS-31’s LAN port to the same network switch as your
computer.
Note: If the first method is chosen, make sure to manually assign an IP address to your PC before making
attempts to connect to the NVS-31.
5.2 Web User Interface
By now, we have obtained the IP addresses of the computer and the NVS-31. Type the NVS-31’s IP address
into the address bar of a browser and then hit the ENTER button. Login by entering the user name as well
as the password into a pop-up dialogue box as shown below.

Click OK button to login and you will be directed to the Source Page as shown below.
