TouseMAXMemoryCardManagertomanageyourmemorycardconnectthecardtoyourPCas
follows:
1. InsertyourMAXMemoryCardintotheUSBadaptorsuppliedensuringthatthecontacts
arecorrectlyaligned.
2. Plugtheadaptorinto anavailableUSBportonyourPC.
WhenyouconnectMAXMemorytoyourPCsome
versionsofWindowswillreportthatthecardneeds
formatting.ThisisbecausetheXbox360usesaspecial
filesystemthatWindowsdoesnotrecognize.
YoumustNEVERallowWindowstoformatthe
memorycardotherwiseyouwillloseyourdata.
Ifyou
seethismessage,justclickCANCEL.MAXMemory
CardManagerwillstillbeabletoworkwiththecard
perfectly.
IfyoudoaccidentallyallowWindowstoformatyour
MicroSDcard,followtheinstructionsinSection7to
reformatthecardforusewithyourXbox360.

UseMAXMemoryCardManagertocreateabackupofapageonyourmemorycardinonesimple
process.Shouldanythinghappentoyourmemorycard,orshouldyouwishtoroll‐backallofyour
filesforsomereasonthenyoucanrestorethebackupatanytime.

1. ConnecttheMemorycardtoyourcomputerasdescribedinSection4.
DONOTallowWindows®toformatthememorycard.
2. Clickonthe‘BACKUP/RESTORE’tabinthetopleftcorneroftheapplication.
3. Clickonthe‘BACKUP’buttonontherighthandsideofthescreen.
4. GivethebackupanameandclickOK.
5. WaitafewminuteswhilstthesetpageisbackedupontoyourPC.
6. Repeattheprocesstobackeachpage.
HINT:Ifyouwishtobackuptheentirememorycardatonce,useaMicroSDcardreader
inplace
oftheUSBadapter.DONOTallowWindows®toformatthememorycard.
Youcanchangethelocationwherethebackupsarestoredbyclickingon‘OPTIONS’inthetop
menubarandthenon‘FOLDERS’ontheoptionsdialogue.
Compressingyourbackups
Enablethe‘COMPRESSBACKUPS’optionbytickingtheappropriateboxonthebackupdialogue
boxtohaveyourbackupscompressed.Compressingyourbackupswilltypicallyreducetheirsize
byupto90%butwillincreasethetimetakentobackupamemorycard.


inSection4.DONOTallow
Windows®toformatthememorycard.
2. Clickonthe‘BACKUP/RESTORE’tabinthetopleftcorneroftheapplication.
3. Selectthebackupwhichyou wouldliketorestore.
4. Clickonthe‘Restore’buttonlocatedtowardsthe bottomleftofthescreen. 
5.
Afterreadingtheshownwarningmessageclick‘OK’,ifyouwishtocancelatthispoint
click‘CANCEL’.
6. Waitafewminuteswhilstthepageisrestored
HINT:Ifyouwishtorestoretheentirememorycardatonce,useaMicroSDcardreaderin
placeoftheUSB
adapter.DONOTallowWindows®toformatthememorycard.
