Pulsed input
• A pulsed switch or voltage output can be connected to a C3 input, for
FYBNQMFBXBUFSçPXNFUFS
• The frequency of the pulse must not exceed 1 kHz @ 50% duty cycle
(i.e. not less than 0.5 ms pulse width)

Control output
• Devices such as electric pumps can be controlled via the C3 outputs
• In situations where mains power is not available to the C3 a low power
switching technique such as the use of a latching relay (Figure 16 right)
must be employed
• 12 VDC coil relays can be used to control higher voltages (eg. 240 VAC)
• In all cases the current limit of the output should be noted
