Diffuser element and housing are carefully
designed for accurate cosine response. Silicon
photo diode provides good match to solar
spectrum. Two-piece housing minimizes radiation
heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor,
and prevents the trapping of water or dust. To
mount next to a rain collector, add our Sensor
Mounting Shelf (not included).
Includes 2 ft. (0.6 m) cable. Use Standard 4-Conductor
Extension Cable. Maximum cable length is 125 ft. (38 m)
from sensor to integrated sensor suite.
Measures the sunburning portion of the UV
spectrum. Allows you to display UV index, dose
rate, and daily and accumulated dose. Multi-
layer filter provides a spectral response that
closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum.

Designed to meet the guidelines of the World
Meteorological Organization, our self-emptying
rain collector with tipping bucket is exceptionally
accurate. Measures in 0.01" or 0.2 mm
increments. Includes 40 ft. (12 m) cable.
Uses standard 4-conductor extension cable. Maximum cable
length is 900 ft. (270 m) from rain collector to console, includ-
ing junction box cable. See page 17 for extension cable options.
Now you can use an R.M Young or NRG
anemometer with your Davis system. This
interface adapts certain third-party anemometers
to report to a Vantage Pro2 Integrated Sensor Suite
or Anemometer/Sensor Transmitter Kit. It has been
tested with the R. M. Young anemometer model
number 05103 and with the NRG anemometer,
model 1900 NRG #40C. However, the interface is
not limited to those products. Solar powered with
lithium battery backup.
