Algorithm Settings Menu
Algorithm Settings Menu Screen Display
The Algorithm Settings menu contains all the values required to tailor the loudness measurement
functions to your specific purpose.
5.1 Measure: Sub-menu with additional settings applicable to how iLM8 handles loudness
measurements the 5.1 surround inputs.
AUX Measure: Sub-menu with additional settings applicable to how iLM8 handles loudness
measurements the AUX stereo inputs.

Measure Sub-Menu Screen Display
NOTE: Each sub-menu has the same settings and options.
Loudness Measure: Defines what loudness measure iLM8 will use in determining the audio loudness.
iLM8 supports industry standard LKFS, weighted intensity measures Leq(A), Leq(B), Leq(C) and
Leq(M); and the Neural Loudness Measure (Neural). (Default: LKFS)
Target Level: Sets the desired loudness level threshold. Target can also be set directly from the home
screen. (-1 to -31dB, Default: -24)
Short Averaging Time: The amount of time that iLM8 will sample audio to determine the short term
combined average level. (1 to 10 seconds, Default: 3)
Right Display Field: Selects if Infinite Average or True/Standard Peak values are shown on the right
display field of the home screen; can also be set direct from home screen. (Default: Infinite Average)
