INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
(Not to be used with a lifted or altered suspension)
1. Read instructions completely, verify bill of materials and determine if you have the correct tools
before beginning installation.
Front Installation
2. Raise vehicle until front tires are clear, support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly.
4. Remove the lower stabilizer link bolt and move sway-bar assembly out of way.
5. Remove the upper ball joint nut.
6. Separate the upper ball joint from the spindle.
7. Remove upper strut nuts on the strut tower(3) on each side of the vehicle that holds the strut
assembly to the strut tower ( Hint: Leave one nut on to provent the strut from dropping out in the
next step.)
8. Remove lower strut bolt from the lower control arm and remove the strut assembly from vehicle.
(Note the direction of the bolt for reinstallation)
9. Install the 3 stud extenders with the M20463 spacer on top of the strut assembly.
10. Install the strut assembly and start the upper three 10mm buts and washer.
11. Install the lower strut bolt in the original position that it was removed.
12. Using he floor jack, raise the lower control arm and connect the upper ball joint on the upper
control arm to the spindle. Torque per OEM specifications.
13. Reconnect the sway bar end links.
