User Manual

Options 6-3
1Video Input
There are four choices: PC Camera, Camcorder, TV or DVD or LD,
and VCR. Select the setting which most closely matches your video
source's output (for example, if you are using a VHS video tape
deck, select VCR; if you have a Hi-8 video camera, choose
Camcorder).
2Video Source
Select the source (Composite or S-Video) that matches the type of
input jack you are using with DVC-II. If you are using both input
jacks, the Video Input button allows you to switch between them.
(If you are using only one input, MovieStar can actually autodetect
the one you are using, so you don't really need to worry about this
button).
3Video Standard
Choose the video format of your video source. MovieStar supports
two formats: NTSC and PAL. NTSC is the format used in places
such as America, Canada, and Japan. PAL is the standard used in
England, most of Europe, Australia, and many other countries.
MovieStar will autodetect between NTSC and PAL. You will only be
able to select standards once they have been selected by MovieStar.
