Setting
This menu shows the options for setting the
functions related to the phone itself, for example
normal settings that includes language, input
method and etc, call settings, network settings,
security settings that includes PIN code and change
PIN2 code and time and cost settings.
In idle mode, proceed as follows:
1. Press
to enter the main menu.
2. Scroll to “Setting” with

to access the menu.
Normal Settings
You may set the following items by preference.
Languages
Set the language for display message. Languages
vary upon the language package used.
Input Method
A number of input styles are provided.
Earpiece Volume
Adjusts the earpiece volume during calls.
Headset
Adjusts the headset volume during calls.
Hand Free
Adjusts the speaker volume during hands free
conversation.
Any Key Answer
If activated, press any key except
and to
answer the incoming call.
Auto Answer
If activated (with headset connected), any incoming
call will be answered automatically when the phone
rings or vibrates for a few seconds.
Flip Answer
If activated, you can simply open the handset cover
to answer an incoming call. If deactivated, you need
to open the handset cover and press
to
answer the call.
Charging LED
This function can set to activate or deactivate the
charging LED.
Factory Settings
Restores some of the functions set in the phone to
their original configuration. The data stored in the
phone book will not be affected. For detailed
information on factory default settings, refer to the
table below.

This function shows you the options for setting the
wallpapers, background colors, contrast, backlight
duration and LED flashing indicator.
Wallpapers
You may change the embedded background
pictures for the internal and external display by
preference.
Main Wallpaper Setting
You may like to set the background pictures of the
internal LCD display change everyday or remain
unchanged until you modify it.
Sub Wallpaper Setting
You may like to set the background pictures of the
external LCD display to change everyday or remain
unchanged until you modify it.
Foreground display
You may like to display wallpaper in the foreground
of the main LCD display when the handset is in idle
mode.
1. Text Display
Displays only the date and time when the phone is
idle.
2. Simulate Clock
Displays not only the date and time but also a
simulated clock in the foreground when the phone is
idle.
3. Calendar
Displays not only the date and time but also a
calendar in the foreground when the phone is idle.
