The dCS 992 Master Clock is optional – it helps reduce jitter.
do this: Set the dCS 992 Master Clock to the same sample rate as the source
(probably 44.1kS/s) and lock the source to the Master Clock.
do this: Set up the dCS 950 or 952 as follows:
Set BNC in the menu to RefCl.
Select the required input (AES1 if connected as shown above).
Press the SDIF-2 button as well to sync to the Master Clock.
One of the SPDIF inputs or the SDIF-2 input on each unit may be used instead
of the AES1 inputs.
If three dCS 952’s are used, the source can be three 88.2 or 96kS/s feeds, or
even three Dual AES feeds.
