STEEL SUBFRAME FINE FINISHES We use stainless and zinc chromate steel hardware with rust inhibitors that exceed auto industry standards for all of our steel bits. DECKED’s exterior finishes include a ruler with handy common drill bit and diameter guides as well as the happy hour bottle opener. 30% of the weight is steel! Galvanized tubes are co-molded laterally into each deck. Dimples in the deck surface identify steel tubes, allowing you to drill into the deck to attach racks or slide systems.

However, after decades of cussing, fussing, fiddling, and tinkering with our own rattling around in the backs of our trucks, we realized there had to be a better way. With more money invested in hardware and lumber than we’d like to admit to build storage systems that may well have come from of Geppetto’s workshop, we finally sat down at the proverbial kitchen table and went to work.
