UFP Ventures II, Inc. (the “Warrantor”) is pleased to extend this Warranty to you, the original end user of the Deckorators product. This Warranty is valid for
Deckorators Composite Railing products used in a standard residential application and may not be assigned or transferred by you.
20-year limited Warranty
Warrantor, at its option, will refund a percentage of the purchase price or replace any Deckorators Composite Railing product used in a railing applica-
tion that cracks, peels, blisters or becomes structurally unfit due to rot or damage caused by termites or fungal decay within 20 years from the date of
purchase. The warranty covers the composite material in your Deckorators Composite Railing only. Please refer to the manufacturer’s Web site for the
warranty applicable to any hardware or baluster products used with your Deckorators Composite Railing system.
This Warranty does not cover costs of installation, removal or reinstallation. This Warranty does not cover staining, color variations or fading.
Warrantor’s sole obligation is limited to replacement of the Deckorators products, and Warrantor shall have no further liability or obligation except as
expressly stated herein. The Warrantor may elect to refund the percentage of the original purchase price listed on the Prorated Refund Schedule in lieu
of replacing the product. If a claim is made under this Warranty for a product that is no longer available, Warrantor reserves the right to substitute a
similar product of equivalent quality and value.
limitatiOnS On Warranty
The Warranty does not apply to any product that:
• Isdamagedbyphysicalabuse,actsofGod,actsofwar,orotherchemicalorbiologicalfactors.
• Hasnotbeeninstalledinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstallationguidelinesandlocalbuildingcodes.
• Hasbeenabused,placedunderorsubjectedtoabnormalresidentialuseconditions.
• Hasbeenused,modifiedorotherwisetreatedinanymannerotherthanasintendedbyWarrantor.
Failure to follow any restrictions or warnings supplied with the product shall make the Warranty null and void and of no further effect. Warrantor
reserves the right to investigate any claim and to inspect the materials for which a claim is made. Any construction or use of this product must be
in accordance with all local zoning and/or building codes. The Consumer assumes all risk and liability associated with the construction or use of this
product.TheConsumerorcontractorshouldtakeallnecessarystepstoensurethesafetyofeveryoneinvolvedintheproject,including,butnotlimited
to, wearing the appropriate safety equipment
Warrantor shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or ownership of this product. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and
exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Claim PrOCedUre
To make a claim under this Warranty to receive replacement products, the original owner must, within 90 days of actual or constructive notice of
damage covered by the Warranty, do the following:
(1) Prepare a letter that includes the following information:
  • Alistofthenumberofpiecesandsizeofeachpieceforwhichtheclaimismade.
  • ProofofPurchaseoftheproduct,asshownontheoriginalinvoiceorreceipt.
  • ProofofWarranty,asevidencedbytheoriginalUPCfromtheproductoracopyofthemarkontheproduct.
