LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

Universal Consumer Products, Inc. (“Warrantor”) warrants that its cable rail product (“Product”) shall be free from material defects in

workmanship under normal use, conditions, installation and maintenance in accordance with the Product specifications and procedures

described in the installation and maintenance instructions for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase. This Warranty only

extends to the original purchaser of Product that is used in a residential application (“Purchaser”).

Exclusions: This Warranty does not cover, and Warrantor assumes no responsibility or liability for damages or injury arising from, caused by

or related to:

• Failure by Purchaser to observe any safety procedures or precautions in use, care and handling of the Product.

• Any Product whose identifying marker, has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed.

• Any Product that has been subject to improper or incorrect maintenance or repair.

• Any Product that has been damaged by negligence, accident, mishandling, abuse, faulty installation, or has otherwise been

maintained, handled, or operated in consistent with or in the procedures described in the instructions or in violation of the Product

specifications or local building codes.

• The ordinary wear and tear of the Product.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

If the Product has a defect Warrantor will send you a new part(s) free of charge, provided the Product has been given prescribed care and

has been used as intended according to manufacturer’s instructions and within our standard specifications. Damage caused by any of the

following will not be considered a Product defect hereunder: weathering, scratching, discoloration, tarnishing, exposure to corrosive elements

or contaminates (such as salt spray, salt air, chemicals or pollution), vandalism, surface oxidation, settlement, structural shrinkage, or

distortions or expansions of the property or structures on the property on which the Product is installed. Discoloration of the Product shall not

be considered a defect by this Limited Warranty.

WARRANTY PROCEDURES

All Products carry a 10 year Limited Warranty from date of purchase. This Warranty requires registration within 1 year from date of purchase.

If registration is not completed within one (1) year of original purchase WARRANTY WILL BE CANCELED.

THIS WARRANTY EXPIRES AUTOMATICALLY. WARRANTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO WARRANTY POLICY AT ANY TIME

WITHOUT NOTICE.

WARRANTOR DOES NOT MAKE ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OF THE PRODUCT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
