1. Before using this timer, please read the following instructions carefully.
2. This timer is rated at 10 AMPS General Purpose 625W Tungsten 125Vac,
60Hz, 1/2HP. The Tungsten rating relates to the total wattage of light bulbs
used.
The manufacturer guarantees this product to be free of defects in materials and
workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. If this product is defective, call
866-308-3976 for repair or replacement parts or return the product to the store
from which it was purchased. This guarantee does not include normal wear and
tear, LEDs, or batteries.

1 MOUNTING THE TIMER
NOTE: To ensure proper operation of the automatic function,
ensure the photocell sensor is shielded from all night time
sources of light, such as oodlights.
a. Mount the timer (A) onto a wall near a GFCI receptacle with the timer’s
photo sensor (C) facing outward.
b. Install a nail or screw head (not included) into a wall. The nail or screw
must extend at least 7/8 in. out from the wall and allow the timer to
be 1 ft. above ground level.
ADJUSTING THE TIMER SETTINGS
a. Rotate the dial (D) on the timer (A) to select one of the following
settings:

a. Hang the timer (A) from the keyhole on the back of the unit with the
receptacle (E) facing downward.
b. Plug the grounded power cord (B) into a GFCI outlet.
c. Plug the device you wish to be on a timer into the receptacle (E).

Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
Lights do not turn on at dusk
The timer is not in a good area for the light meter to
function as there is too much ambient light to detect
darkness.
Move the timer to another location where there is no
ambient light.
Lights do not turn on, even
when the timer is in the “ON”
position.
Lights are not in the “ON” position, lights are not
functioning, or the timer is not receiving power.
Be sure that lights are functional by plugging them
directly into the outlet. Be sure that lights are in the
“ON” position if they have their own switch. Be sure
that the timer is receiving power. The LED should light
up when plugged into an outlet and put in the “ON”
position.
Lights are ashing (turning on
and off).
The timer is in Dusk to Dawn mode and the light from the
plugged-in lights is affecting the light sensor.
Move the lights away from the timer, or reposition the
timer so that it does not face the lights.
Dial Setting Function
OFF Turns the timer Off.
ON Turns the timer On.
DUSK-DAWN The timer turns the attached device On at dusk and Off at dawn.
2 Hrs The timer turns the attached device On at dusk and Off two hours later.
4 Hrs The timer turns the attached device On at dusk and Off four hours later.
6 Hrs The timer turns the attached device On at dusk and Off six hours later.
8 Hrs The timer turns the attached device On at dusk and Off eight hours later.
