The Latitude 13 Education Series is purpose-built to meet
the needs of any student computing program. It’s well-
equipped to deliver a rich learning experience, online or
o, and it’s durable enough to stand up to bumps, drops

Delivering a rich learning experience
Latitude 13 Education Series serves as a learning tool
both online and oine. Its powerful processors, large
13.3” display and full-size keyboard are ideal for content
consumption, production and creation. And the system’s
180° LCD hinge lays the display flat so teachers and
students can collaborate across the desk.
Teachers love the Latitude 13 Education Series’ network
activity light, which “tattles” on students on the network
when they shouldn’t be. It easily integrates with Dell’s
recommended accessories, such as cases, projectors
and document cameras, and it’s available in red, blue and
black.
Durable enough for any classroom
Latitude 13 Education Series is built to withstand the
K-12 (primary/secondary school) environment. It’s
subject to military-standard testing for durability, and
features rubberized LCD and base trim for superior
drop protection. Its exclusive, fully sealed keyboard and

Dell provides a single source for laptop accessories
recommended for the Latitude 13 Education Series. Dell’s
Mobile Computing Cart moves from room-to-room and
holds up to 30 laptops. Dell’s exclusive managed cart
option

connects laptops to the network, enabling IT to
push updates to the systems overnight. An optional kit

adds “sleeves,” snuggly aligning laptops to RJ- 45 and
power connections within the shelves for updates and
charging. Dell also recommends select cases, projectors,
a headset and monitor.
Secure and manageable
Latitude 13 Education Series features Dell Data Protection
| Security Tools for multifactor, single sign-on and pre-
boot authentication. It also features TPM for secure
credential storage. Dell Data Protection | Protected
Workspace (available on Window 7 only) automatically
detects and blocks all malicious behavior in real time —
even zero-day attacks. Dell Data Protection | Encryption,
which protects your data on any device, across external
media and in the cloud, is also available. Dell’s mobile
computing cart also features locking doors, physically
securing laptops while the classroom is unattended.
