6. Check the Obtain an IP address automatically option.
If you are using a manually assigned IP address for the client, the IP address for the client must be on the same subnet
as the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point:
1.
Follow the instructions above to access the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
2.
Ensure the option Use the following IP address is selected.
3.
Ensure the value in the Subnet mask field matches that for the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point.
If you are using a DHCP server to provide an IP address to the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point, you must
determine the address that was provided by the DHCP server. For assistance on getting the IP address from the DHCP
server, see the documentation for your server or contact your network administrator.
Make sure that the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point is properly installed and configured:
1.
Make sure that the Power light on the front of the Access Point is lit.
2.
Make sure that the LAN light on the front of the Access Point is lit. The LAN LED indicates a network connection.
3.
Check the computer's network settings. Verify that the TCP/IP settings are correct.
a.
Open an MS-DOS command prompt window.
b.
Type ipconfig and press the <Enter> key.
4.
Compare the network portion of the address for the computer with that of the Access Point. The first three octets
of the address should be the same. For example, if the Access Point's IP address is the default, 192.168.2.2, the
computer's IP address should be in the range from 192.168.2.3 to 192.168.2.254; thus, it should appear as
192.168.2.xxx.

The Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point CD Setup Wizard program does not run
automatically after inserting the Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. What should I do?
1. Click the Start button.
2.
Click Run. The Open: window appears.
3.
Type the following text in the Open: field:
X:\setup.exe where X is the drive letter of your CD drive.
4.
Click the OK button.
How do I restart or reset the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point ?
To restart the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point, unplug the power connector and plug it back in.
To load the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point's default settings, hold down the reset button on the router for
at least five seconds. When the unit resets, the Power light will blink.
NOTE: When you reset the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point via the reset button, press it for at least
five seconds, the current configurations will be erased and the
factory default settings will be loaded on the
unit.
